"Inside-Out" Series

The "Inside-Out" series has been a culmination of several years of exploration into the capabilities of oil pastels. Despite the preconceived notions, I aimed to infuse spontaneity and gestural energy into the medium, challenging traditional perceptions. In my work, I delve into the concept of the body - a structure that undergoes constant transformation due to injury, illness, and the passage of time. Through my art, I strive to depict this process of breaking down and unraveling, metaphorically turning myself inside out to explore the depths of my being. Each piece is an introspective journey, inviting viewers to contemplate their own inner landscapes."
